One of the issues that I have always had is that there are no external brightness settings for the monitor. It has always been quite dim. Now it was connected to a Lenovo Thinkpad T440 via a HDMI to DVI-D adapter. The display was connected to a HP Workstation running RHEL 4 via DVI-D.Īfter the team re-organized I moved onto the Virtual Infrastructure team and took my Apple Cinema Display with me. I moved into a Unix team around 2008/2009 and at that time I inherited a 30″ Apple Cinema Display (2560×1600), one of the original 30″ displays available.
